Angol esküvői meghívó idézetek:

If you live to be 100,
I hope I live to be 100 minus one day,
so I never have to live without you.
(Ernest H. Shephard)

When you realize you want to spend
the rest of your life with somebody,
you want the rest of your life
to start as soon as possible.
(J. W. Goethe)

You burst into my life with a smile
on your face I feel grateful because
this event has arrived. The moment
 is ours and we are happy because we
 both know that we belong to each other.

Love is a smoke made with the fumes of sighs;
Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;
Being vexed, a sea nourished with lovers' tears;
What is it else? A madness most discreet,
A choking gall, and a preserving sweet.
(Shakespeare)

Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 NIV)

Marriage is a mosaic you build with your spouse.
Millions of tiny moments that create your love story.
/Jennifer E. Smith/

I will betroth you to me forever,
I will betroth you in righteousness and justice
in love and compassion.
I will betroth you in faithfulness
and you will acknowledge the Lord.
(Hosea 2.19-20.)

In your arms I’m rocking, rocking,
hushaby;
In my arms you’re rocking, rocking,
lullaby.
In your arms I am a boychild,
quieting;
in my arms you are a girlchild,
listening.
In your arms you hold me tightly
when I’m scared;
when my arms can hold you tightly,
I’m not scared.”
(Miklós Radnóti: In Your Arms)

All what I can give you is so little
Maybe take my heart, although it’s already yours, you know
I ask nothing in return from you
Maybe it’s just ... Laugh at me every morning of my life!

Understand, I’ll slip quietly
away from the noisy crowd
when I see the pale
stars rising, blooming over the oaks.

I’ll pursue solitary pathways
through the pale twilit meadows,
with only this one dream:
You come too.

(From „First Poems” by Rainer Maria Rilke)

Don’t wait for the one you can live with,
 wait for the one you can’t live without.

Love is that condition in which the happiness
of another person is essential to your own.
(Robert Heinlein)

The greatest thing
you'll ever learn
is just to love
and be loved in return.

From this day forward,
You shall not walk alone.
My heart will be your shelter,
and my arms will be your home.

There is never a time or place for true love.
It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat,
in a single flashing, throbbing moment.
(Sarah Dessen)

Love is our true destiny.
We do not find meaning of life
by ourselves alone - we find it with another.
(Thomas Merton)

My heart to you is given:
Oh, do give yours to me;
We’ll lock them up together,
And throw away the key.
(Frederick Saunders)

Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love, time is eternity.
(Henry Van Dyke)

True love is eternal, infinite,
and always like itself.
It is equal and pure,
without violent demonstrations;
it is seen with white hairs
and is always young in the heart.
(Honore de Balzac)

So, I love you because the entire universe
conspired to help me find you.
(Paulo Coelho)

Doubt thou the stars are fire;
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar;
But never doubt I love.
(William Shakespeare)

My bounty is as boundless as the sea,
My love as deep. The more I give to thee,
The more I have, for both are infinite.
(William Shakespeare)

Come live with me, and be my love,
And we will some new pleasures prove
Of golden sands, and crystal brooks,
With silken lines, and silver hooks.
(John Donne)

We are, each of us angels with only one wing;
and we can only fly by embracing one another.
(Luciano de Crescenzo)

We seek the comfort of another.
Someone to share and share the life we choose.
Someone to help us through the
neverending attempt to understand ourselves.
And in the end,
someone to comfort us along the way.
(Marlin Finch Lupus)

Within you I lose myself
Without you I find myself
Wanting to be lost again.

You know you are in love
when you see the world in her eyes,
and her eyes everywhere in the world.
(David Levesque)

The Dance of the Bride

As part of the wedding we would like to include some Hungarian traditions, one of which is the dance of the bride. This is the last chance to dance with the bride before she dresses in red at midnight and starts the new day as a wife. During the dance everybody lines up – including ladies – to pay for the privilege of dancing with her for a few moments
before someone else cuts in. The money represents the main presents to the couple. It is collected in a pot by the best man and is traditionally used by the happy couple to set up their new home.

Krisztina and Mark invite you to share and celebrate at their wedding on Saturday, July 25th, 2015 at 4:00 in the afternoon Erdőspuszta Club Hotel, Debrecen, Hungary. Prior to the ceremony Mark along with his two best men, Paul and Zach will be greeting guests from 3.00 onwards with drinks and canapés by the lake. Dinner reception, drinks, dancing follow shortly after the ceremony and photographs. We both really appreciate you joining us on our special day, we both realise the cost involved and distance travelled by you in order to share the day with us and we truly are grateful.
We therefore ask that you please do not purchase any wedding gifts. Following Hungarian wedding traditions all we ask is that you provide the bride with a cash donation and scratch cards in order to receive a dance with her during the evening.  Please don't ask me why, it's a Hungarian tradition. Food will be supplied throughout the evening as well as an unlimited free bar until five o'clock in the morning, so please help us drink them dry and show them how Hungarians and British party.
